Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information [KonnexHub LLC] ("KonnexHub", "we") collects through konnexhub.com, how we use it and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Waitlist: your name, email, role, state and anything you tell us about your needs, plus the campaign link you came from.
• Account and profile: name, email, firm, location, phone, website, specialties, tax software and bio.
• Credentials: your PTIN, license or enrollment number and issuing state, which we use only to verify you.
• Community activity: posts, replies, job posts and applications.
• Billing: handled by Stripe. We receive your subscription status but never your full card number.
• Invite links: if you join through a colleague's invite link, we record who invited you so we can tell them how many people joined through their link. We do not share your answers with them.
• Site analytics: we may use privacy-focused analytics (Plausible) to count visits and signups. It does not use cookies or build a profile of you.
• Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) used for security and troubleshooting.

Information we do not want

KonnexHub is not designed to hold taxpayer information. Do not post or upload client names, Social Security numbers or return documents. If we find any, we delete it.

How we use information

• To run the Service, verify members and show your profile in the member directory (you can hide it).
• To send account, waitlist and service emails, and occasional updates you can unsubscribe from.
• To keep the Service secure and prevent fraud.
• To improve the Service using aggregated, non-identifying statistics.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

Service providers that help us operate: hosting (Render), payments (Stripe), email delivery (Resend), file storage, site analytics and error monitoring. They may use your information only to provide their service to us. Other members see only what you choose to show in your profile and posts. We may disclose information if required by law.

Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, optional two-factor authentication, required two-factor authentication for staff, and access limited to people who need it. We maintain a written information security program in line with the FTC Safeguards Rule.

Retention

We keep account information while your account is active and for a limited period afterward for legal and accounting purposes. Waitlist entries are deleted on request.

Your choices

You can update your profile at any time, hide it from the directory, unsubscribe from non-essential emails, and ask us to access, correct or delete your information by emailing info@konnexhub.com.

Changes

If we make material changes, we will update the date above and notify members by email.
