Terms of Service
Last updated: November 1, 2026
These Terms govern your use of the KonnexHub website, community and services (the "Service"), operated by [KonnexHub LLC], a New York limited liability company ("KonnexHub", "we", "us"). By creating an account, joining the waitlist or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you subscribe to a membership, the Member Agreement also applies.
1. Who may use the Service
The Service is for tax and accounting professionals and their firms. You must be at least 18, hold an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) to become a member, and give us accurate information about yourself and your credentials. We may verify your PTIN, CPA license or Enrolled Agent status and may refuse or end access if we cannot.
2. Your account
You are responsible for your login credentials and for activity under your account. Use a strong password and turn on two-factor authentication. Tell us right away at info@konnexhub.com if you suspect unauthorized access. Accounts are personal and may not be shared.
3. Professional responsibility
KonnexHub is a community and a marketplace. We are not a CPA firm, do not provide tax, legal or accounting advice, and do not prepare returns. Content shared by members is peer discussion, not professional advice. Each member is solely responsible for their own work, their compliance with IRS Circular 230, state board rules and other professional obligations, and their relationships with their own clients.
4. Client and taxpayer information
You may not post client names, Social Security numbers, return documents or any other taxpayer information in the forum, directory, job posts or anywhere on the Service. Any sharing of tax return information between members must happen outside the Service, through a secure file portal, and only after the client has given written consent as required by Internal Revenue Code §7216 and its regulations.
5. Acceptable use
- No misleading, unlawful, defamatory or harassing content.
- No solicitation of another member's clients you learned about through the Service.
- No spam, scraping, reverse engineering or attempts to break the Service's security.
- No sharing of paid content (templates, recordings) outside your own practice.
6. Content you post
You keep ownership of what you post. You give KonnexHub a non-exclusive license to host, display and distribute it within the Service. We may remove content that breaks these Terms.
7. Our content
Templates, recordings and other materials we provide are licensed to members for use in their own practice during their membership. You may adapt them for your clients but may not resell or republish them.
8. Fees
Membership fees, the overflow platform fee and cancellation are described in the Member Agreement and on our pricing page. Payments are processed by Stripe.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that any member, job or referral will meet your expectations.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, KonnexHub will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
11. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or if your credentials cannot be verified.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will tell members by email or on the site before it takes effect.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. [Dispute resolution clause to be finalized by counsel.]
